The skating rink at Prince Arthur’s Landing is now officially open daily from 12pm to 8pm! Changes have been put in place for safety during COVID-19. At this time, the Water Garden Pavilion facility will remain closed until further notice. While the facility is closed, users are encouraged to come prepared and dress accordingly. Additional benches will be placed around the rink for users to put their skates on, and a portable washroom will be available. Rink users must mainta...in a two-metre distance from other users, and capacity limits will be posted on site. Skating aids will not be available. Staff are asking for the public’s assistance to follow guidelines that help keep others safe while they enjoy the rink. Please remember that hockey sticks and pucks are not allowed on the ice. Residents are reminded to please stay home if they have any COVID-19 symptoms, wear a face covering when required and keep appropriate physical distance from others to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. For more information regarding outdoor skating rinks throughout the city, visit www.thunderbay.ca/rinks

To help celebrate a week of warmer weather, please consider walking or driving by a beautiful little art show hosted by the residents of Southbridge Lakehead Ma...nor, Long Term Care Home. Willow Springs has been doing art programming at Lakehead Manor for the past 4 years. This show highlights artwork residents have been doing with us virtually and the home's recreation staff during the pandemic.
