Sad day to be told Neil Peart from RUSH has passed away. Not ony has Neil entertained the world he was looked at as a God in the drummer world To us he was also a good friend (Bethanne Keep) Remembering all the times Neil was at our home growing up as he was in my brothers band "The Majority" pre RUSH He practically lived at our home and came to our cottage as well. SUCH a nice guy.... Neil had batteled Brain Cancer the last 3 years Neil, you have suffered through tragedy and you wow'd the world with your GIFT . May you RIP and know you did it all and fans are better for knowing you and following you. This will be a sad day for all who loved you and knew you. RUSH was a great supporter of our Tinnitus Association of South Western Ontario Auction. The band had supported us and our efforts to fund raise and find a cure from our beginning. Always wiling to help. Thank you RUSH and to Geddy and Alex, our thoughts are with you. You 3 have been together since the start of time it seems. To Neils family, Our thoughts are with you.

A beautiful Tribute to Jimmy Johnson by Neil Peart RUSH The early days which (Bethanne Keep) remembers well :) Neil Peart and Jimmy Johnson and I all lived in Niagara Falls and through my brothers band i was connected with Johnson and Peart as well Jimmy , the last thing he said to me (bethanne) was he was thrilled when i told him in my young young days a had a big crush on him! LOL he laughed. He remembered the times he carried a big organ in my brothers band as a roadie th...at was heavy as hell! he said! They have changed today! A man who said he would do all he could to help raise funds for Tinnitus research and help he could. Such a great guy always RUSH has been with us from the beginning , it is funny how after many years things go FULL CIRCLE and we all meet up again. Time goes to fast, see your beloved friends/ Make time for them as only you and them know some great stories.
