Today would have been Red October’s 29th birthday. I miss him singing for his breakfast every morning, and the way he and Pyro (his great grandson) would groom each other over the fence. I am sure they recognized each other as family. I am very pleased to see Red’s appearance, size and gentle personality shining through in this colt, Tin Star’s Fifty Shades of Red. He will help to carry on Red October’s legacy in the Newfoundland Pony.
