Serious collision on Hwy 15 at RR 214 (Scotford turnoff). Expect major delays in both directions. The FOG is still causing near zero visibility in surrounding areas.
It’s time for my annual safety speech... SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER FOR TOW TRUCKS! It is two years ago now that my son’s tow truck was hit by a semi and my son was ...hit by a second semi while trying to run to safety. Two years since I received that phone call from the hospital in the middle of the night telling me that my son was alive but seriously injured ! I remember that phone call, and the phone call from his fiancé as clear as if it happened yesterday. To this day my son is still in extreme pain, is still being seen by specialists and still struggles to do such simple things that you and I take for granted, like getting dressed & holding his son. Slowing down and moving over for ANY flashing lights on the road is such a simple thing to do and it does save lives !
I found this letter beside our elf on the shelf this morning. I’m sure many of us want the same thing from Santa this year ... but what I want the most is for you to give Scientists the cure for Covid
Collision Hwy 15 & Hwy 834 near Chipman- avoid the area!
Bill 21 came into effect today. It introduces new immediate roadside penalties to get impaired drivers off the street. Many first-time offenders will be able t...o deal with these penalties through a new online traffic dispute system. The most serious cases, including repeat offences and impaired driving causing harm, will receive the same roadside penalties and be prosecuted in court. Implementing an approach with immediate and severe consequences has been proven to deter impaired driving in other provinces. With these changes, Alberta will have among the toughest impaired driving laws in the country. For more information: https://www.alberta.ca/making-alberta-roads-safer.aspx
Expect delays at Hwy 15 & 21 intersection in Fort Sask. A trailer has lost its load of milk.
