Today our NNADAP program (Bonita) held an event where anyone can come and share their stories struggling with addictions, and still in recovery. Their stories were powerful, they talked about letting go of their dark past that once held them hostage, but no longer let it determine their future. We are reminded that everyone, no one excluded has struggles and that we need to be kind and thoughtful and supportive with one another. Some people are vulnerable to addiction yet ...even though they have been clean for years, and we all need to know this, breaking someone for no reason or for something that is not worth seeing one your own fall. Please learn to reach out, please help bring people up instead of down, and be patient. Prayers for everyone This will be a monthly event, if you would like to share or just be apart of the event contact Bonita or a counsellor.
