Here's a bad photo from an interesting diagnosis today: this camshaft sensor waveform is good, but it's backwards! The sensor connector had been replaced previously, and the wires/pins were switched.

Sometimes a fresh perspective and a new set of eyes are all you need to complete a diagnosis. It's easy to over-complicate things and when we arrive to help, the solution to a shop's tough problems often turns out to be very simple. Here's an example: a truck that was still overheating after receiving many new parts. The problem turned out to be a TOTALLY plugged, muddy radiator.
