Job Description: Head Coach Associate Top Glove Boxing Academy 147 Lorne St, Sudbury, ON P3C 4P6 ... Student internship position available through and NOHFC Internship Program. This is a full-year internship and the intern would be assisting in developing new programs and working directly with the lead coach and general manager of the club. The candidate will be concentrated on learning in the categories of health and fitness, management, and programs. Duties include: Lead pre developed and newly developed fitness programs by: Instructing members about the specific movements, exercises, benefits and precautions of already established programs Research and develop new training and fitness programs specific to group and individual needs Identity areas of needs within fitness programs for seniors relating to boxing Other requirements include: Provide facilitation/resource services and volunteer development Actively establish and facilitate community development initiatives while maximizing facility usage and revenue generation Investigate and initiate new programs, events, partnerships, sponsorships and other sources of revenue. Lead and organize boxing events held at the boxing club that promote the programs available and possible new memberships Qualifications: University or college graduate who has graduated within the last two years from an accredited college or university. The candidate must be a graduate of a post-secondary degree or diploma program. The position will be a first full-time employment in the candidate’s field of study.
