Given the current health situation, here at Top Hat Chimney we are doing our best to provide ongoing service while continuing to follow municipal guidance regarding business operations. For chimney cleanings, our technicians are wearing gloves and N95 masks (which are actually standard in our industry to avoid soot inhalation). For chimney/brick work, we are doing all estimates from the outside and then giving estimates by phone or email. Payment for all types of work can be ...completed remotely by credit card or e-transfer, if desired. However, in light of the uncertainty surrounding business operations, we want to ensure that we get cleanings/repairs done for those who may want to be using their chimneys over the coming weeks and perhaps months. If you plan on using your fireplace/chimney in the near future, we suggest that you have any service completed now.
