To our competitors, judges, performers, spectators and fans, With deep regret and after careful consideration we have made the very difficult decision to postpone the Toronto Open until further notice. This event was to be held April 16-19 at the Hyatt Place Toronto / Mississauga Centre. ... The fact that so many of our international participants may be unable to arrange transportation and the possibility that increasing numbers of cases could prompt further restrictions imposed by our government we feel the best and most proactive move is to postpone and look for a future date when it is safe for all to attend. We wish you and your families good health and well being and look forward to seeing you in the future when conditions have improved to allow all to enjoy this event!
