Notice Water Shut Off - Monday Sept. 28th @ 11.30am Town would like to inform residents that workers will be doing more repairs to the leak they did on Thursday near Davis Motors. Residents from 58 Main St. (Christie Collins) up to the beginning of Hare Bay (towards Gambo) will be affected. There will be an interruption in water for a period of time. Town apologizes for the inconvenience this may cause.
For those interested, please do not forget to sign up for the Beet Bottling night happening this Tuesday. Due to Covid restrictions we have limited space and need to know how many people to prepare for. If you are between the age of 9-18 or 50+ you are welcome to attend. Notice Bear Sighting Town would like to advise residents that there has been another bear sighting in the Bayview Heights area. Dept. of Wildlife has been notified. Tomorrow is Garbage Day. Please keep your garbage inside your shed, garage etc until morning for pick up to eliminate a food source for the bear.

Hare Bay Park & Recreation will be offering a Fun & Food Camp for ages 10-12. This program will be focusing on being active, making healthy food choices, learni...ng the basic cooking skills and safety in the kitchen. This program will run for one evening a week for 5 weeks. Covid protocols will be followed. If your child would be interested you can register them by calling Connie at the Recreation office Wednesday, September 23, from 9 -2:30 @ 537-2146. Due to limited space and depending on the interest we may run this program a second time. The weather looks like it is going to be a beautiful evening for a Campfire and Sing A Long at Hare Bay Park tomorrow! If you are planning on coming to this event and you have your own camping chair can you please bring it along as social distancing will be in place and it I will be a little easier to do with chairs. Notice Black Bear Be aware that there is a black bear hanging around on Bayview Heights. He has been there all afternoon. It seems to be getting very brave now coming dangerously close to homes. Please be very careful, keep an eye on kids and pets when they are outside. Wildlife has been contacted.
