Today is Orange Shirt Day. SFPIRG is committed to love and action in the service of decolonization. There is no more important or meaningful struggle. #LandB...ack. For those of us who are not Indigenous on these lands, it is essential that we keep learning and then actively support fundamental change. Today is Orange Shirt Day but two days ago this woman died screaming in a Canadian hospital while nurses mocked and insulted her. Colonialism has never ended. It is a part of every aspect of Canada. It has always been and remains genocidal, and we are implicated. What will we do with that truth?
