Not all are created equal.
Our dedicated members are what make us an amazing Fire Department. Here are some more photos that were taken by Blade 9 Films during the training that was pres...ented by Training Resurrected back in November. Realistic training makes us better! Thank you Dynamic Rescue Systems for supporting us with this.
Check out this Q&A that James did with David Mellen of Valor Fire Training.
Another great day of Fire Control with the Red Chris Mine Rescue team. Dynamic Rescue Systems
What a great weekend with our friends with Osoyoos Fire Rescue. There were a lot of ladders thrown, doors forced, and water flowed! Dynamic Rescue Systems

Day one of First In, All Alone with Osoyoos Fire Rescue!
A great first day of Fire Control with the boys from Red Chris Mine Rescue. Looking forward to some Interior work tomorrow.
They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old - Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn - At the going down of the sun and in the morning - We will remember them Today we celebrate Remembrance Day in Canada as well as celebrate Veterans Day with our American Brothers and Sisters. The photos above are of Masum Ghar (MSG) a Forward Operations Base established by the Canadian Army in 2006 after a ...violent operation to claim this essential high point from the Taliban in Panjwai. For five years, Canadian soldiers called this small base home. Unlike Kandahar Airfield, where comforts of home were readily available, MSG was rocketed almost daily, and adjacent roads were plagued with deadly IEDs that subsequently killed dozens of soldiers and mutilated many more. In 2007 a makeshift memorial was given to Canadian soldiers by American and South African contractors to mark the fallen who called MSG their home. As the war progressed, the memorial grew; 59 stones and rock were pulled from the mountain and dedicated to 63 soldiers KIA. This memorial was left in the 'graveyard of empires.' Lest We Forget.
Some pictures of our irons class over the last 2 weekends with Merritt Fire Rescue Department Lots of hard work putting in the reps.

We are looking forward to being back with Merritt Fire Rescue for two weekends of Forcible Entry! If your department is interested in hosting a class, please contact us at [email protected] or check out the link in our bio.
In every class we teach, we always stress the importance of pre-incident planning and getting out into our districts. By doing this we can gather a wide range of intel, from prevalent building construction, forcible entry challenges, or like you see in these photos, challenges created by set-backs or property lines. Issues like these directly affect our tactics such as, how we get to the roof, location and ladder placement for egress, and stopping fire spread to adjacent structures. Every city, town, or county has its own unique challenges, and by identifying these before the bell hits, we can better set ourselves up for success.
A great reminder to always sweep and sound the floor when moving in low visibility or entering a new space. Dynamic Rescue Systems

Here’s the inside view of yesterday’s post. How do you think your initial plan would’ve done? Would you do anything differently knowing what you know now?
What’s on the back side of this? What are our options?
