With Teddy arriving this week, it’s a good reminder for us all to check our smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. It will be especially important to practice safe g...enerator use and to be extra careful with candles and cooking appliances if we experience any power outages.- PEI Fire Marshal Dave Rossiter Simple (but important) fire prevention tips for everyone: Regularly change batteries for all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Practice home fire drills with all household members. Keep anything that can burn at least three feet away from heating equipment. Never leaving any cooking appliance unattended.
