The physiological mechanisms of head injury, includes: Traction, dilation, dissension, or displacement of intracranial arteries, extracranial arteries, and intracranial veins of the dura; compression, traction or inflammation of sensory cranial and spinal nerves; voluntary or involuntary spasm or inflammation of cranial and cervical muscles; meningeal irritation; raised intracranial pressure, haemorrhage, and migraine. Entrance into the Headache Research Study is now Closed! For new patients, and those not involved in the headache research study, please book starting June, thank you!
Did you know that on June 20, 2012, the American Headache Society reported that headache is a significant problem and is more frequent in persons suffering mild TBI than moderate to severe TBI. This is for those of you that were worried that since you were classified in the 'mild' category, that people did not necessarily sympathize with you.

Can someone give me suggestions or information on how better to get the word out about the study? I'm in the health field, so this is not my strength
