Chady Oueini came to Canada and Belleville to follow his dream. A dream for a safe and stable environment to raise a family and grow a business. In Lebanon, Chady studied Business Management and worked in the marine industry. Seven years ago, Chady was recruited to come to Ontario and manage a marina. His wife, Lady, an architect, joined him in Belleville and they were ready for their next step. Three years ago was an important year: their son, Luca, was born and they deci...ded to go into business for themselves. Chady determined that trucking, delivery and logistics was a growth industry. When County Courier, a local delivery company, established in 1983, became available, Chady did his due diligence, developed a business plan, and approached Trenval for financing. Since then, County Courier has grown into County Transport and includes new delivery vans, tractors, and trailers and the company specializes in pick-up and delivery for logistic support of national carriers. County Transport has grown to twenty-five employees including office, warehouse and drivers. Chady’s strength is networking and analyzing market needs by talking with industry managers. His vision includes developing a logistical network. County Transport has purchased a ten hectare property in the Belleville industrial area at Highway 37 and Blessington Road for dedicated warehousing. Although most days begin at 4:00 a.m. and continue well into the evening, Chady is positive and optimistic. Business is good and I enjoy what I’m doing.
