*chefs kiss* so it’s always a good time when @heathersoron is in! we chat life, gym, pups and are each other’s hype woman. yesterday she tells me she wants bold , she wants new, she wants hella blonde. coming right up. this look is a whoooole mood . I did a new foiling pattern and face detail pattern I learnt this weekend and I’m super into it. ... at the sink we did some things! I tapped her root ever so slightly with 8n/8t. let sit for 10 , rinse. I then glossed mid with 10vv,10gi, 10p and a splash of 10n leaving out her hairline and her ends RAW! finished with an @olaplex and @ilesformula_hair treatment and she’s good as gold ! lesson of the day - always try new shit, it’s good for the soul

weekly greys anatomy inspiration was a simple and age old message that is important bailey never judge people until you know their story. everyone has one - pandemic or not . this is why you have your people . the people in your corner that know you and love you exactly as you are. the ones that back you up , support you , bring your energy to a higher vibration and encourage you .... stay true to your people , stay close to your people and never change or apologize for who you are or why you are the way you are because you have lived. your story has shaped you and as long as your living your truth and you are happy - that’s that :) @Paulette is one of those people. she started coming to me a few years back and each and every time she comes in she brings so much joy and perspective to my days and I so appreciate her :) for her hair we do 1 row or 14 and some lights to blend. have a beautiful Friday , XO

yesterday was by far the coolest day ! since the very beginning of putting together our vision for grace we wanted it to be a place where likeminded artists could get together and learn not only new skills, but create a stronger community of support. I always get SO flipping excited to teach but yesterday was special. @tattybae.grace and I taught the first part of the class ( branding, marketing, social media & community strength ) together . this was a surreal moment lookin...g over at her and having a moment taking it all in. what we have been working towards coming to life. pt.2 bbr. the method and hair line are near and dear to me. they are the heart and soul of my purpose and to be able to teach it to other artists for them to then help others feel incredible about their hair - dang it’s a beautiful feeling. just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to @grace.studioco yesterday . it was an absolutely blast and filled our hearts !

spent yesterday with nonna , making pasta , drinking wine and listening to stories of the old country. it was the most perfect day and our hearts are so full.

love me a simple yet stunning transformation ! she had some blue / green left in her beautiful blonde hair from Halloween and she wanted to go back to her natural with minimal damage. we did a 30 minute @malibucpro DDL , clarified her hair , conditioned to even out the porosity, did a tone on the ends and voila [ oh and we may have added in one row of 24 for fun ;) ]. styled this tousled look with the @minttools extra long curling iron , @ilesformula_hair finishing serum ...and @kevin.murphy bedroom hair . so many of you are feeling the mermaid hair lately and I’m so here for it ! let’s just manifest that beach and maybe soon it will come :). have a beautiful day and hope that wherever you are , you are able to create your own little paradise

uncertainty ... yup, we’re all feeling that sh** and no I don’t have the right words to say. everyone has a story and is going through something that is extremely challenging. thinking about all the conversations I have behind the chair makes my heart so sad . BUT I woke up this morning compiling all these conversations and there’s an underlying strong conversation that is also being had. this is the resilience of our community. it’s an aha moment where the conversation shift...s gears and we discuss that contrary to popular belief - we ARE still in the drivers seat . we have travelled so far and we will continue to persevere. we can still control the path( despite the detours), our reactions , how we pivot , how we treat others and what we give of our time , listening empathetic ear and resources . it’s dang hard and everyone is going through something right now so I guess all I’m trying to say is that even though there is so much we can’t do or can’t do for one another right now , take small comfort buckled up in the drivers seat

ah that lived in , sun kissed bronde + 2 rows 18 this is such a soft look. we haven’t lightened her hair in well over a year. we have let her natural grow out and just done a few tones in between. I love how so many of my clients embrace their natural tones and simply accentuate it with extensions . i have many tricks up my sleeve to create these beachy, soft looks i mean girl , healthy hair is in !... effortless extensions ? nbd we got u - 306.281.2687 for consults & appointments !

don’t overthink it - sometimes simplicity wins ;) we have one row in her hair with only 2 wefts on that row . the purpose of this is to fill in her sides, some added weight and for her hair to hold a style. how many rows should you get ? this question gets asked all too often and it depends on a few things !... one row : is created is when you are wanting to simply add thickness to your natural hair and not so much length. it is super popular to help achieve a full , blunt bob (b l e s s) and in your long hair to keep those ends looking sharp . 2 rows : this is created when you are wanting bit more of a change . this adds both fullness and length and is needed when going from short to long to blend . when customizing your hair there is so many things us girls at grace consider when you pop in for your consult. we chat about : goals lifestyle current hair health colour goal budget essentially , tell us your goal hair and we will put in place the steps to get you there. p.s. it’s easier than you think

anyone else get a bit soppy after last nights greys episode * guilty . so it got me thinking about people. the people you surround yourself with daily . the family , friends and coworkers. these are the important people in life who make getting through the rough days and the good worth it. these are the people who you show up for and vise versa ( yes ok i am watching a few reality shows at night #bavh) but ! this week I have caught myself a few times looking around @grace.st...udioco and being so fck* proud of the people that fill the space . they bring it every single day. *the hustle *the smiling faces *the back room jokes *the quick sweep when one is running behind *the extra home made food made with love * the high five after doing a dope colour , set or facial *the quick water knee chug and booty bounce while mixing colour *what can I do for you mentality *all in all... rock solid support we have always dreamed of working in a place that feels like this and to be a part of that ... it’s surreal. so today i’m very grateful for people . grateful for support . find your people and tell them often how much they are appreciated
