Trident Coatings and Finishes

This is a basement bathroom I took from bare studs to final finish. I achieved the look and feel of stone by using a cementitious overlay (Surespray by @surecreteproducts ). By applying contrasting colours and a custom stencil between coats I can create the look and feel of large slabs with grout lines inbetween. The beauty of the system is despite its look, it's actually a seamless coating with incredible water resistance. Yesterday's late night transformation. Took these steps from crumbling corners and peeling paint to a sharp and elegant Pearl Grey finish. This is a textured #jewelstone finish. A decorative modified cement that serves as a durable and decorative overlay. I start by grinding the original surface, repairing and reforming the damaged areas, followed by two coats of the decorative material and finished with two coats of sealer. ... SWIPE THROUGH TO SEE THE BEFORE SHOTS I recently completed this project which included removing tile from the front porch, grinding down the stamped concrete in the back and applying roughly 1000 square feet of decorative cement overlay ( #jewelstone from @durock.alfacing ). We went with a flagstone pattern to compliment the traditional style of the home while still breathing new life into the overall look. ... This was a long and grueling job, done mostly in the intense heat but the end result was completely worth it. This customer now has a backyard space they can be proud of and a cohesive look from front to back.
