Lending a helping hand at the Halton Women’s Place A women's shelter, is a place of temporary protection and support for women escaping domestic violence and intimate partner violence of all forms. The term is also frequently used to describe a location for the same purpose that is open to women and their dependent children at risk. Data shows that one in three women will experience physical violence during their lifetime. One in ten will experience sexual violence. W...omen's shelters help individuals escape these instances of domestic violence and intimate partner violence and act as a place for protection as they choose how to move forward and help them find a sense of empowerment. Additionally, many shelters offer a variety of other services to help women and their children including counseling and legal guidance. A key responsibility of Triple M Demolition is to be a positive member of our community. Our vision and mission drive our commitment to assist when possible. Our vision of Your Job Just Got Easier is valuable not only to our customers, but to our employees and community. We are pleased to help the Halton Women’s Place in Milton by completing their demolition project on a volunteer basis. Our partners such as Moffatt Scrap Iron, also provided their support on this project voluntarily. We are aligned with the needs of providing a critical service in our community. This allows us to be part of helping them in their unique way. Halton Women’s Place has been supporting women and children since 1978.
