Once again Casey Garrison - Tripleshot Youth Team grad/team coach - has worked her magic to provide an eye-popping, whimsical jersey that provides a glimpse of Saanich peninsula highlights, a shout out to Dr. Bonnie Henry, and a charming capture of Ali & Grayson*! This 2020 TSCF jersey is available for purchase just in time for wearing on Sunday, October 18! This jersey can be yours by ordering through the event organizer. Simply email [email protected] with your ful...l name, size and the jersey style (standard or relaxed), and then e-transfer $99 to the same email address. This first order will be available before the Tripleshot CrossFondo (Oct 18) and details on how to pick up the jerseys will be sent to you. We can not have them sent directly to you as this is a special order with Jakroo and hey! we're saving you the shipping fees! For sizing, both Standard and Relaxed sizes are available; to ensure you get the right fit for you, please visit Jakroo's site before you order. The jersey style is Fondo. (https://www.jakroo.com/ca/fondo.html#sizing ) This order closes midnight Thursday, Sept 24. *The pair of donkeys on course who are anxiously anticipating watching you all again.... Volunteers needed for EVENT DAY! We do have great volunteers, many of whom return year after year. Some are already at work, namely Team Musette volunteers! We’ve got mountain bikers, cross riders, commuting riders and Grandmas sewing our unique musettes so that you can take away your lunch and bevvy as you depart the finishing chute! Thanks Team Musette! One of our youth team parents (Charles Langlois’ Mum Anick) will be contacting you if you’ve volunteered before. But if you haven’t and you would like to help out drop us a line at [email protected]! Coming from away? Need a place to stay? We’ve had several inquiries for a later start time from mainlanders who want to ride the early ferry over on event day. We can do this for you mainlanders no problem, just drop us a line at [email protected]! However, you might want to come over the day before, ride some of our lovely trails, grab some great Victoria grub and suds and stay at a funky place like Hotel Zed. Seriously, when was the last time you got outta town for fun?

Hey! It’s been so great to see so many of you on trails this summer! We’ve had lots of questions about the 2020 Tripleshot CrossFondo and we want to update you on our plans. To begin with, our Early Bird registration for the 2020 Tripleshot CrossFondo has been extended until Sunday, August 16 at 11:59 pm while we work out some final details. We are working with Island Health (VIHA) Environmental Health Office to take the appropriate modifications due to Covid-19. ... Some of the modifications include: - Individual Time Trial format (your predicted riding speed submitted in your registration will help determine the start list) - Volunteers will be masked and practicing physical distancing - Hand washing stations at access points and port-a-potty sites - Sanitized surfaces and physical distancing throughout the start/finish area and at nutrition/water stations. No-touch bottle filling. - Distanced parking - Musette lunch to enjoy away from the start/finish area (a ‘musette’ is a sling bag full of goodies that is given to pro riders while they’re racing. Don’t worry, you can stop for a moment to get yours!) Of course, if the pandemic conditions worsen and there is a requirement to postpone the event until 2021, we will offer a refund (less a service fee) or will defer your entry to 2021. Thanks for your patience; we’ll get back to you with more details shortly! The TSCF Organizing Committee

"Most of the Tripleshot CrossFondo trail accesses will never be made permanent, as some go through deck porches and greenhouses, but the point is to support the Nature Trails Society to create year-round options for off-road routes." Our heart-felt thanks to Tripleshot youth grad Jay Lamoureux for working so hard to represent Canada at Tokyo 2020. Thousands of hours of blood, sweat and tears are on hold after Canada announced it is not sending a team to Tokyo due to C-19 risks. Jay, you are an inspiration every day as one who follow their dreams. #weareallteamcanada Team Canada / Équipe Canada Cycling BC Cycling Canada Jay Lamoureux Tripleshot Cycling Youth Team Tripleshot Cycling Club

Thanks to the 2019 TSCF riders, Moss King (Tripleshot Youth Rider) was able to present a cheque to SIMBS President Dan Smith on behalf of her teammates. The funds will help SIMBS continue to advocate for trail access, build sustainable riding areas and host events to promote mountain culture and engage the local community to provide an opportunity for everyone to ride! The 2019 TS CrossFondo is sharing its proceeds to support safe and active routes to school in Central Saanich and we invite you to join us at the cheque presentation is THIS Saturday, Jan 11 at 10 a.m. A $3000 cheque from the proceeds of the 4th annual Tripleshot CrossFondo will be presented to the South Vancouver Island Nature Trails Society to work with public and private landowners in support of the development of trails to Central Saanich schools. WHEN: Saturday, J...anuary 11 at 10:00 am WHERE: Willow Way multi-purpose trail, Central Saanich https://goo.gl/maps/66KamB4gDt3rWW489 There is limited parking on Willow Way, and extra parking on Kersey Rd. There will be some bike parking on site. The 2019 Tripleshot CrossFondo route received accolades from the nearly 300 participants, much of which was made possible by private land owners and public land managers in Saanich, the Highlands, and Central Saanich giving one-day permission for the event to pass through their property. When the event requested permission, it committed to landowners, race participants and sponsors that it would give back to their community and chose to support the active school travel planning initiative. This initiative will build upon the CRD’s Ready, Set Roll Active School Travel Planning that several Central Saanich schools are currently involved with. Attending will be Tripleshot youth program riders and club volunteers and coaches, Central Saanich councillor Zeb King, Central Saanich safe and active routes to school advocate Megan Misovic, and we've also invited the host landowners and participants of the 2019 Tripleshot CrossFondo.
