Bonus$1.00 Why here, My property has been my passion now for over twenty years. In all my 20 years I have only seen about 5 black-flies here, they must have been lost. Mosquitoes come just before dark and very few right after dark, it seems they don't like the salt air perhaps. With no light pollution the star’s are amazing in the summer/winter time as you set by your great fire pit that will keep you nice and warm. During summer on most warm days there is usually a light b...Continue reading

I am distraught to say the least for someone to expose my company Trot In Time Buggy Rides with there issues. Please remove my photo from this confrontation that has nothing to do or reflect with me or Trot In Time Buggy Rides ltd. Mr Larry Labelle drives for Trot In Time, while we are all not perfect but Mr Labelle has been one of my better employees and very much hoping he will be back another year! We are all just trying to get through thisPandemic. I documented this in fear of any ratifications for legal reasons. I trust Mr Jezzand you will do what is right here and remove this post of my image

Hi, Basil here from Trot In Time Buggy Rides ltd. Due to Covid-19 and borders remaining closed, well the boys didn't get to see anyone in town this season and for this we apologize. As working horses, the boys require a job in order for me to keep up with their care. A horse of this size when working requires a minimum 40 lbs of hay daily on top of grain, standard seasonal veterinary care, hoof care etc. At this time, many working horse owners are in distress as the costs fo...r maintaining horses continues to increase substantially. I’ve waited patiently for funding but there have been no programs for tourism businesses that fit my horses that I am aware of, so I’m looking at other options to get these boys through the winter to ensure Ernie and all the rest of the horses will have a season next year. We are hopeful we will prevail, so this will give the boys a chance to work again next year. At this time, we would like to raise funds to go toward hay and feed. For a $35 donation, you can preorder a T-Shirt of your size sporting the 5 boys or a certificate for a tour next year. If you would like to send a donation, please email funds with password horses to [email protected] including your email address and choice of shirt or tour so we can contact you for details. Shipping in Canada will be included in your donation. Please note that shirt preorders will only be open until November 30th. Your support is much appreciated and the boys look forward to working for you again next year. Thank you all for the support and please feel free to share this post. At the moment I have approximately 200 bales of wonderful hay left. With the way Norman, Jack, Jake, Roscoe and especially Ernie eat, my hay will last up to xmas. I will be needing 900 more bales of hay to get me through to spring, the cost of this alone is $7,200 plus grain. As for now the boys are fine, it will take a bit more slow work in the spring to get them back in great shape as they are pretty soft after having their year off. All donations will be very welcoming at this point! Your Truly, See more

Hi, Basil here again. I thought perhaps I would give an up-date on my children's books. I wouldn't have thought it would take me five months to write five children's books but it did, I am happy to say we are now starting with the illustrations. I am wishing to have my first book ready for Christmas, the other will follow in sequence hopefully. But I can tell you this has been a blast for me, now remember this is all true stories exactly how Trot In Time Buggy Rides started, ...right from the very beginning! I've been getting some really nice comments from my publishing company, they are thrilled how I can do a 360 with some of my stories. One of the editing team said and quoted " What a gift" I am still waiting for my present to show up. lol I can't tell you how much fun this has been for me and I hope to continue writing. I relive all the stories when writing and there is times, I need to get up away from my computer, as it becomes so overwhelming with some stories, I have lots. The name of my first book will be called "Cindy my Name, First Horse Ever" , and on the bottom of the front cover will explain why. Cindy was my first horse, she was a French-Canadian Percheron. I found Cindy at the Ernst farm and from there I never looked back. This would have been my 25th season, so I think it's kind of cool that I started my stories at the quarter century mark. So I will do my best to get the first book out for Christmas, as this is a part of finding money to keep me and my horses for another year. So please purchase my books, you won't regret them. Enjoy Cheers and all the best to all Basil Oickle Trot in Time Buggy Rides, Ltd. Lunenburg, NS www.trotintime.ca (902) 521 4499

How to stop a itchy bug bite in seconds. Get a butter knife hot under your kitchen tap only! Now touch it on the bite for a few seconds. Do this twice back to back and the itch will be gone immediately, even a flea bite as those bites can itch for days sometimes, not anymore. True story folks!
