Our certificate students will be learning these basics this month as we role through 4 sections of ADVG 1560 Ski Tour 1. We're stoked to share their stories throughout the month as we provide AST 1 & 2 training to our awesome students. #MyTRU #TRUAdventureStudies #IAmAnAdventureGuide #AvalancheSafety #AvalancheCanada #BackcountrySkiing #GetOutdoors #Salomon
Update: Our first course of the Winter semester is traditionally ADVG 2760 Ice Climbing, but for Winter 2021 we have opted to post-pone ice climbing until March due to COVID-19. For now our students are dreaming of the ice routes they will climb. Earlier this month Adventure Guide alumna, Jessie Gladish participated in the Moab240, a 240.3 mile, 5 day (ish) footrace through Utah's desert, canyons, slick rock, two mountain ranges surrounded by Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Thanks to alumni Jarrett Hofmann for sharing her story story in the Sun Peaks News.
