Thanks to Salomon for this awesome How-To video about avalanche companion rescue. Whether you're new to the backcountry or a seasoned adventurer, these essential skills are your best friend. Our certificate students will be learning these basics this month as we role through 4 sections of ADVG 1560 Ski Tour 1. Update: Our first course of the Winter semester is traditionally ADVG 2760 Ice Climbing, but for Winter 2021 we have opted to post-pone ice climbing until March due to COVID-19. For now our students are dreaming of the ice routes they will climb. This 6-day course is spent exploring the stunning waters of local Kamloops lakes.
