Excited to be shipping this lineal edger to one of our customers, especially since it will be the first shipment that makes use of our new space since our building expansion. Its been tight quarters in the final assembly area with all of the bandmills, resaws, edgers undergoing final assembly at once.

We would like to thank all of our employees and customers for their support during this time. We have a great group of people who are working on innovative solutions to the problem of coronavirus. After the expansion we have lots of room to social distance in the shop, but when conversations need to happen we use these social distancing drawing review stations. Thanks again to our team for their continued perseverance and ingenuity, with your help we will beat this.

Update - TS Manufacturing is an Essential Service, and we are still on reduced capacity during the Covid-19 Outbreak at this time. Our previous post highlighted that we have maintained a Skeleton staff to ensure our customers retain access to parts, service and support, with many people working remotely. Like many companies, we have taken additional measures to ensure a safe workplace for our reduced staffing level, with additional cleaning and isolation precautions occurring.... Our Industrial Sales department is still operating at this time, and in a reduced capacity and with restrictions in place. There is no entry by any Non-TS Personnel to TS Manufacturing allowed, with the exception of large pickups that require Crane loading. Industrial Sales is operating on Account / Credit Card only with no Cash transactions. Service time in Industrial Sales may be longer than typical due to reduced staffing levels, but it is important that our Municipal, Water Sanitation, Agricultural and other Essential Service customers know we are still providing the community support we have been providing for over 40 years through Industrial Sales. Thank you to those that are holding their non-essential business until after this crisis, and thank-you to our dedicated employees. Essential and urgent operations will still receive prompt service, for instance this week we were pleased to assist a local Automotive Service center with fabricating frames for Protective Barriers of their Front-Line staff. With the current Covid-19 outbreaks Management at TS Manufacturing made the decision to suspend operations until April 6th and potentially longer in order to help #flattenthecurve and protect our employees, their families and the community. We have maintained a skeleton staff that will continue to answer the phones and handle parts and service for our customers with many of our people working from home. In these extraordinary times we would like everyone to practice #socialdi...stancing so that we can get through this as quickly as possible and return to full production Strong, Healthy and Fully Staffed. For our valued customers, we know this will affect delivery timelines, and we are sorry for this, but at this point our employees and their families health must come first. Engineering is continuing with people working remotely, Salespeople are continuing their roles remotely, but much of the Accounting, Retail, and Manufacturing personnel have been sent home. We operate in a beautiful community with a high population of seniors and retired people and while we are still exceptionally busy, it seemed inappropriate to put profits ahead of our community responsibility to help limit the spread of the coronavirus. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and #stayhealthy! See more
