Wrapping up the year. It’s been possibly the most interesting year of my life. Ups and, let’s be honest, massive lows. I am quietly optimistic that next year will improve. We’ll be taking a short break now to spend with family. My son was discharged from hospital and will have a few weeks at home before the next round of treatments. The Kitchen should be up and running again mid January at reduced hours for the first few months. Bear with us as we figure out what direction we’ll be taking. In the meantime have a wonderful Christmas. It will be different this year but we can still make it special. Thank you for all the love and support. Blessings and Merry Christmas to all.

Next weeks Soupy Sunday offering will be a hearty Mulligatawny Stew. This is a North Indian/ British hybrid boasting shredded chicken, carrots, celery, apples, red lentils in a coconut curry broth with rice. It is a delightfully warming soup. Perfect for this winter weather. $10 for 750ml. This will be our last soup until 2021!

With heavy heart we have to cancel our Halloween give away tomorrow. My son is not doing well and very at risk for any sort of infection. As such we are basically on lock down for the next week or so. Thanks for understanding. Catch you all next year!

Since Halloween is on a Saturday we decided to give out treats from 4-7pm. We will be giving out Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Holes and if no one comes I am ok with that. Front porch will be inaccessible. Just scream Trick or Treat and we’ll shoot the treats your way. It’s a different year but it’ll be good.
