For the past 11 years, the purpose of the Tweed Stampede has always been to preserve and promote western heritage and values by celebrating the people, animals, land and traditions that make up the unique spirit of what it truly means to be "country". The Stampede has always looked to the community, whether it be at a local, regional or international level, to help guide the organization’s direction into the future. A sad day for our rodeo family. I remember Will as a young boy coming to the Stampede with his Grandfather Bill in the Alberta Premium Truck. He was always eager to help out even at a young age. Over the years we watch him grow from a little boy up to a young bronc rider. Will, you'll be in our hearts. Love and Prayers from the friends and family of the Tweed Stampede.

We are devastated to share this news with you. Regardless of the circumstances, rain or shine, We have always delivered. Unfortunately for the first time in 11 years we have to completely postpone the Tweed Stampede and Jamboree . We understand the severity of this situation brought on by the pandemic. The safety of our guests and our community is of the utmost importance to us. For that reason we felt that this was the right decision to make. At this time we ask that ticket... holders hold on to their tickets until next year and they will be honored. For holding on to your tickets you will be rewarded with one additional ticket for each one you have purchased already. This means you can share the Stampede experience with even more friends and family! We are anxiously awaiting for things to return to normal and really can’t wait to see you all again in August 2021. Lastly, The Ram rodeo team have also been gravely impacted by all this. By this time each year on this date, Cindy Lee Phillips and I would have arrived at the Tweed Stampede & Jamboree, would have set up the majority of our camp, a...nd probably by now would be drinking Bacardi Canada Banana Rum with Grace Foods Canada Banana Drink!
