Please be aware of our furry friends this Halloween...many are especially scared of fireworks, but can also be scared of decorations, and people in dress up.

Pumpkin wants to wish everyone a happy and safe Halloween! Pumpkin was a part of our feral kitty project. She was an impressive turnaround! She’s a purring machine now and meows at her foster for attention. Pumpkin is off to her forever home tomorrow to meet her new sister Mango! This week TMAR received information about a possible dog poisoning in the downtown area in Elkford. After confirming this information with local authorities we have a confirmation of an ongoing investigation by the RCMP and the SPCA. There will be a media release next Thursday in the free press newspaper, if you have any information on the incident we encourage you to reach out to the Elk Valley RCMP. In the meantime keep an eye on your pets and any new items in your yard, that may seem out of place. Thank you and stay safe everyone!

Mabels personality is really showing now that her job raising adorable kittens is done! She’s enjoying her retirement from being a mama. Astrid (black kitten) ...will be going to her forever home next week! Mabel loves playing with her and acting like a kitten herself. She’s very affection and will purr 24/7. She enjoys having a conversation or two. Can sometimes be sassy and very opinionated sometimes. Mabel deserves her forever home after raising such amazing babies. Mabel is loving, litter trained, good with humans any age. Other pets might be questionable as we haven’t had any exposure yet. Let us know if you would like to meet Mabel! Her foster is heartbroken she cannot keep her. Mabel has been an amazing companion.

Herman and Indy are happy for all cool cats and kitties that have been adopted lately but are wondering when it will be their turn!? Herman and Indy are very independent kittens that must stay together and be adopted as indoor pets only. They are extremely clean, funny and are even great alone if you need to go away overnight! Everyone loves a strong, independent cat who don't need no owner, am I right? They love affection and they love to make you smile. Please see photo for personal space invasion reference.
