Happy First Day of Fall! But don't worry - there are still 8 days left of camping season! Book online at bit.ly/TSbooknow. Stay safe during this tropical storm, everyone!
Here is the latest update from CBC's Jay Scotland on Hurricane Teddy. PEI is under a Tropical Storm Statement. Be prepared for heavy rain and at times, high winds. Power outages are also very likely to occur. If you are at the campground, here are some safety tips: -Tie down or take in any loose objects around your campsite (i.e. lawn furniture, decor, flower pots, etc) -Avoid the beach or nearby areas. This storm has a high potential for storm surge & dangerous waves... -Be ready for possible power outages. Have food, water, etc in case you do lose power -Ensure your emergency kit is prepared. Due to Covid-19, remember to include things such as masks, hand sanitizer, etc -Overall, stay safe & stay up to date on the storm. Local media, as well as Environment Canada are providing and will continue to provide updated info. Be safe, everyone!
As Tropical Storm Teddy nears PEI, we ask that all seasonals please secure your outdoor furniture and cleanup your lot ahead of the storm. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone at the park. Thank you! For more info on Teddy, please visit https://weather.gc.ca/hurricane/statements_e.html and stay tuned to local weather forecasts and updates.
