Hello!!! I’m super excited to have an opening date!! May 19th I have had a flood of messages and I’m doing my very best to get organized before replying to everyone... Sadly, I’ve had to cancel some of your appointments during the closure. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this time The good news is that a lot of you had pre-booked you’re appointments for end of May and into June Therefore, I’ll be keeping everyone’s appointment the same. For those of you that were cancelled and were not booked in for end of May / into June, I’ll be contacting you to do my very best to fit you in. I will be taking every precaution I can to safely have you in my chair, so I please ask that you do not come early or with anyone else to your appointment or if you are not feeling well. If you are not feeling comfortable with keeping your appointment, I kindly ask that you contact me asap to let me know My plan is to still go forward with my vacation ...IF it’ll be permitted! (Please keep all your fingers and toes crossed for me) I need to also remind you that I’m not back in the salon until the last week of August and I’m currently booking into September so please take that into consideration if cancelling your June appointment Thanks again for all your love and support, I miss you all like crazy! After receiving several messages from guests regarding maintaining the gray coverage while at home, I am now offering at home colour kits to get you through this time These kits are customized for you! There’s enough colour to do your top part and around your face. This kit includes the customized colour, developer, a brush, gloves, treatment, shampoo, conditioner along with instructions. Please message/text me if you would be interested in getting one Stay safe and I can’t wait to have you back in the salon where I can give you all a big hug!!! Dorothy

UPDATE: With growing concerns over COVID-19 and under the recommendation of health officials, to keep everyone safely at home as much as possible during these uncertain times, I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily close the salon until further notice. This was not an easy decision but right now that means keeping everyone safe. I will be contacting clients to reschedule their appointments and I will do my best to get everyone in on a timely manner as soon as possible. Take care, isolate and stay well. Dorothy

Dearest clients, During this time of unease and recent concerns with the spread of Covid-19, I feel it’s time to take precautionary measures in the salon. It’s business as usual - for now! ... I will be going forward day by day and if the cases of Covid-19 increase and I feel that my health and yours can be compromised, I am ready to postpone all appointments to prevent spreading the virus. In the meantime, I kindly ask that if you or someone close to you is feeling unwell and/or has travelled abroad, to contact me to reschedule your appointment. The Canadian government has implemented a 2 week (voluntary) quarantine time period for all of us to endure. This will hopefully help minimize the spread to those immune systems that cannot fight this new fight. As you know my salon is always kept to the highest of standards in cleanliness and sterilization. I have continued this practice throughout this pandemic and upped it even further by asking clients to please wash their hands upon arrival. With the closure of schools, I ask that clients please refrain from bringing their children with them to their appointments. Please also note that if you are showing any signs of flu like symptoms, I will ask you to reschedule your appointment. You- my clients, my friends, are a priority to me and neither of us want to compromise each other.
