Whereas the Writer and Creator of UFW ending up in the hospital while the production happened, where as members of U of T Fashion Week as well as UBC would be required to support the producer at the management level, UBC breaking out of SFU and various backend liabilities are important knowledge for everyone looking to get involved in Season 3. While there's a lot of updates with a range of work and negotiations happening with the SFU market as Skynation did need to shut down... the market so it can focus on the UBC and UofT Market, it's new for many to start seeing this as a national platform of which is supported by a range of service providers within its market place, so do not that for those looking to be part of the production, knowing the issues at this stage is important within the markets that did produce and the growing developments coming out of Season 2.6 http://theskynation.com/canadas-university-fashion-week-at/

Slowly getting back into things! Applications will be opened soon for this Season but first check out new music from TÖME! A new Canadian Afrobeats artists from Toronto, Ontario! Fun fact! She toured with Wizkid during his recent Canadian tour! With a lot of acts having relationship with Skynation don’t be surprised if you meet some surprise guests at fashion week! This Season is all about Canada!

This year some of our models for the opportunity of being scouted for this year's #LLIV19, a Skynation production of which had seen mostly SFU Fashion Week models seeing early casting opportunities. With the growth of production starting to spread, seeing designers and models coming out of our 2019 Season was amazing to see inhouse recasting. Congratulations to all the UBC models of whom got recasted as well as Tribe Àsàní, while this Season was one of the shakiest Seasons wi...th a range of content still on the way as we move into #NationalSelectionWeekend seeing the successful publishing of some of our models of whom are now launching their own product lines are a strong step in the right direction. With Skynation growing it's production at UBC, we're excited to see more attention being put on this issue affecting one of UBC's most vulnerable population.

With the entire UFW production suffering one of the biggest deficits to date causing the need to rethink the necessity of this platform, we're glad for the various talents working to keep production advancing and within the need to cut various expenses and work towards reducing the various deficits of the programming, its exciting to see various changes coming out of this production year. Hopefully #SFUXFW is able to sorta out their production and continue as part of production. With #UBCXFW having a shaky Season this year's we are petitioning that #UBCXFW is not connected to #SFUXFW as this year's production was slowed down significantly. Having our executives able to focus on it's own presentation without the need to support the another production would greatly improve each chapters abilities. Many were not aware but as #UniversityFashionWeek was part of promoting the mission of #Multiculturalism of Harambecouver our founder #KayodeFatoba would end up needing emergency medical support due to the ongoing impact associated with needing to support other productions while supporting the various liabilities brought on from the contracting organization. Not communicating with the production community who are part of this vision of Multiculturalism and creating a new orga...nization without public consent or awareness is not lawful and as it has come to light that this program employs workers from the DTES of whom are facing various homelessness issues, having these types of issues further exasperates their current living conditions and much like our chapters having University Fashion Week deal with the mounting costs of producing and advancing UFW as a national platform, we are excited to see VNITY emerge as a more representative umbrella organization to support the various advocacy required to advance this production and the growing work required to make sure it's able to support it's growing resource needs.
