Incoming information for the Conference on Diversity in Engineering: The Conference on Diversity in Engineering (CDE) is a Canada wide conference taking place over two days during the month of November, presented by the Canadian Federation of Engineering Students (CFES). CDE is hosted by one of CFES’s 53 member schools through a bidding process. This conference’s roots date back to 1990, when it was initiated as a local Conference at Queen’s University. Through much success, ...28 years later, it has been hosted by 10 schools and grown into an annual national conference averaging 200 delegates. CDE will be hosted by the University of Calgary from November 21st to 22nd. This is the first time since the creation of CDE that the conference has been hosted in Western Canada. The Schulich School of Engineering is excited to host the Conference on Diversity in Engineering and to inject a little spirit of the West into the conference. The conference is FREE to attend, but UBC has a limited number of delegates we can send. Please fill out the following form before November 12 to be considered.
