Free poultry food! These are some experimental winter squash that turned out very fibrous and not very good tasting, so they are available to whoever wants them for poultry. Apparently ducks really like them (cooked). Comment if you want them!

Here's something to inspire and entertain you while we navigate the world of social distancing - a "merit badge" program, like the ones we used to see in Scouts or Guides, but geared especially to us! This program encourages you to broaden your knowledge and experience, and get "credit" for what you actually do. It doesn't teach you how to do stuff - you have to do that learning yourself in the way that works for you, whether that is UHSPR classes, reading, watching videos, ...trying things out, or something else. You then take photos of what you do, and post them as comments to the appropriate pages on the uhspr.ca web site. The first badges available are for Gardening (Level 1 and Level 2) and - mostly for fun - a Pandemic badge which lets you get credit for all the strange things we find ourselves having to do nowadays.
