New fund-raising project making Christmas themed washable reusable face masks with all proceeds donated to the Lion's Club. Masks are available in red or green $10 each - quantities are limited. Call the Centre 705-673-7404.

Today representatives from Lockerby Legion were at the Centre and presented with a cheque in the amount of $1610.00 from our poppy mask fundraiser. Thank you to our volunteer mask maker Roma Shewciw and to everyone who purchased a poppy mask. All proceeds raised were donated to the Legion.

Today, October 1 is National Seniors Day, an occasion for all Canadians to appreciate and celebrate older adults. Although challenging with social distancing guidelines, every day at the Centre, we work to enhance the quality of life for our seniors.

A limited quantity of non-medical washable poppy themed faces are being made by our dedicated volunteer Roma Shewciw. Masks are $10 each with all proceeds being donated to our local Legion. Thank you for supporting our curb-side pick-up. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are not permitted to have our normal fund-raising events. However, we offer FRESH cabbage rolls and pyrohy Monday to Friday for curb-side pick-up please call the Centre 705-673-7404.... We have had 5 curb-side hot luncheon pick-ups which include pyrohy, cabbage rolls and featured item: June it was Ukie burger with kapusta July it was smokie with kapusta August it was oven roasted chicken September it was pork meat sticks October it was turkey pot pie What was your favourite?
