The actor known for his Oscar-nominated role in Juno, as well as Inception and most recently The Umbrella Academy announced today that they are Trans, and use the pronouns he or they. Dr. Julio Montaner was one of the selected and was recognized for his amazing work in treating and preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.

We just wanted to say thanks to our clients for their amazing patience. The past few weeks have been pretty difficult for our clinic with tech issues, health issues, and now the death of a loved one. Our staff have been incredible, but we know the cancellations and rescheduling has been tough on our clients. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during a very rough time for us.

We are very thankful for the response to the covid-19 pandemic from the Federal government in supporting businesses. Our clinic, like many other independent medical clinics, has been incredibly hard hit. We are still operating thanks to the wage subsidies and temporary loans. Thank you Patty Hajdu and Marcus Powlowski, Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay-Rainy River for your support!

We are moving our clinic to the 3rd floor! We will be closed July 1st to July 13th for all services including administration. Indigenous History Month Our marketing guy is a veteran with massive respect for Sergeant Tommy Prince. Please consider this campaign to have him featured on the $5 bill. Sergeant Tommy Prince is the most decorated indigenous soldier in Canadian history. His tragic treatment by the govt after his honourable discharge is a reminder of the racism faced by all indigenous peoples.

National Indigenous History Month A very haunting and powerful version of "We Didn't Start the Fire" by April Martell. She rewrote the song to bring awareness to issues indigenous people have been facing in Canada's history.

The Gender Journeys Workshops are a source for reliable, up-to-date information for anyone experiencing or questioning changes on the gender spectrum (transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, agender, etc). Topics include gender identity and expression, dealing with discrimination, coming out, health, transition (emotional, social, legal and medical), hormones and surgeries, navigating the healthcare system and family support. These sessions will provide the resources to make individuals feel more at ease with how their feeling and wherever they are within their own journey.
