To all of my Dear clients Phase 3 is here! It’s finally our turn to welcome you back and I am excited! First off, please bare with me as I do my best to schedule everyone back in. I appreciate your patience...and are trying to get to you all as quickly as possible! ... APPOINTMENTS: all appointment are book yearly. You will be schedules as normale. If you are book next week , your appointment the same. As i will change a couple of appointment to be sure . I will contact you as soon as your appointment scheduled . I will do ONE week at time. Also all clients that have missed appointment before the shut down. You will be contact as soon as I can. Those of you who did not already have an appointment booked I will contact you and we will put you on a list and schedule you as soon as we are able. ARRIVE: My time will be extra precious . I have to give myself extra time with each client for sanitation in between appointments and to allow for social distancing among guests. I ask that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time and remain in your vehicle until I invite you in (or outside, while maintaining 2m distance from any other clients). There will be no access to our waiting room and you will not be able to have anyone accompanying you inside the building *exceptions for children and those requiring assistance LATE ARRIVAL, LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION or NO SHOW Because I need the entirety of the appointment time booked for you to ensure a great service while respecting the new guidelines, I unfortunately will not be able to honour your appointment if you arrive late as it will impede on the time allotted to have our work area sanitized for our next guest. Late arrival, last minute cancellations (24hours or less) or no shows will be charged for their services in order to be rebooked at a later date. PPE/SANITATION: Each Client must wear mask . I will have (i only ...25 masks). You will be asked to use hand sanitizer upon your entrance into the salon. I will be conducting my job while maintaining physical distanciation from clients other than their own and taking necessary precautions to keep you as well as myself safe and healthy. You will be asked if you have traveled outside of New Brunswick within the last 2 weeks, if you have any symptoms related to Covid19 (cough, fever,etc) OR have been in contact with someone who does? If any of the above apply to you, I will not be able to complete your services and you will be asked to leave. Public Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 today, including one case involving an employee at a long-term care facility in the Campbellton region. Extra-M...ural Hospital clinical staff tested residents and staff at the long-term care facility earlier today. The new cases are: an individual between 30 and 39 in Zone 5 (Campbellton region); and an individual between 60 and 69 in Zone 5. This outbreak could very easily spread to other regions of New Brunswick, if we fail to work together, said Dr. Jennifer Russell, chief medical officer of health. That is why every New Brunswicker must be vigilant. Additional assessment centres have been set up for the weekend to test residents of Zone 5 at the Campbellton Memorial Regional Civic Centre and at the Inch Arran Arena in Dalhousie. Interested individuals must call Tele-Care 811 or their family physician to arrange an appointment at the closest facility. The current active cases appear to have a connection to a health-care professional who worked in the Restigouche area. It was not that long ago that we had active cases of this virus in every part of our province, said Premier Blaine Higgs. Our goal continues to be protecting our health-care system and our dedicated frontline workers from being overwhelmed, for the safety of all New Brunswickers. Zone 5 transitioned back to Orange level on Wednesday under the province’s COVID-19 recovery plan. The following rules apply to Zone 5 only: A two-household bubble is permitted. Your household can join up with one other household, if both households mutually agree. You must not have close contact with anyone else. You cannot join up with more than one household or bubble. Non-regulated health professionals and businesses such as acupuncturists and naturopaths cannot operate at this time. Personal services businesses such as barbers, hair stylists, spas, estheticians, manicurists, pedicurists, and tattoo artists cannot operate at this time. Officials from WorkSafeNB and the Department of Public Safety are in the area to ensure compliance. They will closely monitor and assess the situation in the days ahead. Those with concerns can contact a toll-free information line by calling 1-844-462-8387 or by emailing [email protected]. All other zones in New Brunswick will remain at the current Yellow level. During this time, Public Health measures and guidelines must still be followed. As a result of the outbreak, activities previously scheduled to be permitted on May 29 will be delayed by one week to June 5. This will allow time to determine the extent of the current outbreak. The activities being delayed are: Outdoor public gatherings of 50 people or fewer. Indoor religious services, including weddings and funerals, of 50 people or fewer. Low-contact team sports. Openings being delayed include: swimming pools, saunas and waterparks gyms, yoga and dance studios rinks and indoor recreational facilities pool halls and bowling alleys If you or a member of your family are showing two of the following symptoms, contact Tele-Care 811 or your primary health-care provider for further direction: fever above 38C or signs of fever (such as chills); a new cough or worsening chronic cough; sore throat; runny nose; headache; a new onset of fatigue; a new onset of muscle pain; diarrhea; loss of sense of taste or loss of sense of smell; and in children, purple markings on the fingers or toes. In this instance, testing will be done even if none of the other symptoms are present. Up-to-date information about COVID-19, including the latest data on confirmed cases and laboratory testing in New Brunswick is available online. A self-assessment will help you determine if you should be tested for COVID-19. To date, 24,169 tests have been conducted in New Brunswick. There have been 128 confirmed cases. The number of active cases is eight and 120 people have recovered from their illness. To my wonderful clients; As you all know me well, you know I miss you just as much or even more and I am looking forward to seeing all of you! I will be happy to see you It seems as it will likely be between 4-6 weeks as we are not in the first phase of the government plan. ... Things to keep in mind: - Once we do get to reopen, we will have to be following strict guidelines. These guidelines will be there to not only protect myself, but it will also ensure your safety. - Bookings; having all the appointments book yearly, once we get the ok to reopen, I will give you the plan for appointment , one’s we will have the date to start! To help ensure I keep things as fairly as possibleWith keeping safety in mind, and also the fact that I am only one of myself, the schedule will be arranged accordingly. - I will keep you posted with all future plans once we do get more information from the Association. - I will also be posting and advising you on our safety protocol and do apologize in advance for the extra little steps that we will both need to take, however my number one priority is health, yours and mine. As a hairdresser, I love what I do. I know your roots are bad, I know your hair will be too long and you won't feel like yourself. I would love to go back to work but I can't, our industry can't. When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please don't blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more. Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. We sit patiently waiting, like you, for answers or reassurance of some sort. With uncertain clarity, we hope and pray that you will be back to us soon and our industry comes back stronger than ever!
