The Canadian Social was full of fun. For most of us it was the first time we could taste beaver stew!

November 23rd. 6pm The Canadian Social Potluck! Think of your favorite Canadian stereotypes. Canada is full of maple syrup, poutine, moose meat eating, hockey playing, curling, Tim Hortons drinking, touque wearing sorry saying Canadians. Eh. We have a purley Canadian music mix for laughing, singing and dancing and some Canadian games to play. ... Come dressed as your favorite Canadian character; Lumberjacks, Doug and Bob Mackenzie, John Candy or Dan Ackroyd. Or come as yourselves cause you are Canadian! See more

The first farmers Market at UCFI, come and check it out, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Our AGM is coming up soon on Sunday June 9, 2019 at 2pm. Hope to see you there.

We are looking for a new UCFI Treasurer. If you are interested in this role, this workshop would be great and will give you an insight into one of the responsibilities as our Treasurer. If you would like to attend on May 9, 2019, please let Cheryl know. For more details on the role, just ask!

Ready for a great kids birthday party...

If you know of anyone who would like to become a member of the UCFI, please let them know about our page. If they live in Upper Clearwater, for $0.50/year, they can become voting members. We have several new families - do you know if they are members? Other members, who live elsewhere, can still be part of our decision-making process. Our membership form can be found here, along with info on renting the Hall.

For any project, task or activity, our UCFI PTA form must be filled out and sent to the members, so that they can vote on it. The majority of our projects/tasks/activities are voted on at our AGM, held each Spring.

Our first Irish Shindig...

Hall is decorated for our first Irish Shindig! Food is being prepared for the potluck (some have let us know what they are bringing) ..... I have found my dancing shoes - green & sparkly - of course!!! Looking forward to seeing you there! If you haven’t been for awhile or have never been..... come along and enjoy the fun! Everyone is welcome. Fun begins at 6pm!!

Our Irish Shindig is only a couple of weeks away..... what are you bringing for the potluck.......? Irish stew......... or Boxty, Colcannon or Champ, or even for dessert Goody or Gur cake - but maybe not ........ crubeens ......! Looking forward to seeing you there.....

Our membership fee is $0.50 due each year by the beginning of our AGM. Anyone over 18 years old can become a member, but only those who live in Upper Clearwater are eligible to vote at our General Meetings

Our next community event is a new one - an Irish Shindig potluck - on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 6pm. Bring your own Irish inspired dish and of course - your dancing shoes!!!

Motown Valentine's Party......

Our next community event, of course, is our Valentines Potluck on Saturday February 9, 2019. Doors open at 6pm, with supper at 6.30pm.... followed by dancing. Everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there.
