Another SOLD OUT weekend at #Pumpkinferno! Here's your reminder that masks are mandatory and we ask guests to stay 2 meters or 6 feet away from others.
Last month, #UpperCanadaVillage welcomed volunteers from Community Food Share to glean the gardens at our historic site. They harvested produce from the vegetable gardens and orchards for our local community members to be shared with local food banks in both Morrisburg, Winchester and surrounding areas! We value our community so highly that partnerships like this one are so wonderful! Even amidst a pandemic, this annual tradition must go on! A big to all the volunteers and our Village staff!
#Pumpkinferno is now SOLD OUT until October 19th! We still have tickets available for the 9:30pm timeslots for various nights after. : ostone31 via Instagram
It always makes us smile when guests share their experiences online with us, especially when they feel reassured and safe while onsite at the Village. This year brought about quite a lot of uncertainty about our fall event #Pumpkinferno but of course, we pivoted. We did this with our guest's health, safety and well-being as a priority to provide you with a safe place to enjoy. This season, we have limited capacity, are offering time + date specific ticketing, enhanced clean...ing, mandatory masks and several other safety measures in place. Most importantly, we simply want to say thank you to all those who have joined us and we look forward to welcoming others - our community, local residents and visitors mean so much to us! "We were there last night, the rain wasn't going to stop us and we brought new comers with us. It is very well organized especially with COVID guidelines. I was so happy to be back again this year." "They have it set up extremely well. A lot of distance between groups and there was very few groups. We went at 7pm - there was 2 groups in front of us and 1 behind and I didn't see any another groups while on the trail. Was so great." "...Excellent job for the social distancing and cleaning up after each person in the bathroom; no contact, few people - very impressed." "Visited Pumpkinferno for the first time this year and it was well worth the trip! Everything was really well setup, with timed tickets, specific entry points, and a good wide avenue that the event takes place on. All of the workers were very friendly and informative, wanting to help out with making the experience as enjoyable as possible. With the group sizes and the distancing happening it often felt like you had a space to yourself to really appreciate the different displays. All of the displays were well done and some were very cool! Capping off the experience with a BeaverTail was the cherry on top. Great seasonal event and well run location with awesome staff. Would take the trip to visit again!"
