At Urban Wildlife Control Inc we have a soft spot for snakes so it pains us to see them suffer due to ignorance. This pretty eastern milksnake was lucky. A little canola oil, and we were able to free it from the glue boards some laid down. BTW, we are not big fans of glue boards. They are terribly inhumane on our opinion. #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #bestjobever #easternmilksnake #snakesofinstagram #snakes #milksnake

A quick look at just a part of our hands on removal procedure. Please do not attempt anything you see here. Wild animals are unpredictable and can cause you serious injury. We are trained professionals and understand the risks. #raccoons #raccoonbabies #raccoonsofinstagram #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #wildliferemoval #humanewildliferemoval #notraps

Wildlife removal is not a DIY project! In this case a DIY attempt resulted in mom red squirrel locked out and babies stuck inside. In their desperate attempt to find a way out, they ended up trapped in stove exhaust fan. Wildlife removal should only be done by professionals who understand the biology and seasonal life-stages of the species dealt with. #wildliferemoval #humanewildliferemoval #squirrelremoval #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #notraps #redsquirrels

Red squirrel babies are growing up and getting into all kinds of trouble! They certainly have a way of eating up time in the work day. #redsquirrel #redsquirrelbabies #squirrelsofinstagram #squirrelremoval #humanewildliferemoval #bestjobever

Dispelling wildlife myths is something we do everyday. A common myth is that bats cannot take off directly from a resting position on a surface but need to drop into flight from an elevated place. Myth busted! #bats #batsofinstagram #batremoval #littlebrownbat #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #wildliferemoval #myth #mythbusters

Squirrel babies are becoming a regular thing for us these days. It's amazing that these little pink jelly beans grow into full size squirrels in about 10 weeks! #squirrelremoval #squirrelsofinstagram #squirrelbaby #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval

Raccoons are completely unaware we are battling a global pandemic. As an essential service we are still here to help. Your safety and ours is our top priority so we have made changes to our procedures. It has been a challenge but we have adopted zero contact appointments and strict physical distancing practices. It's a little awkward but necessary! We are looking forward to when we can be our friendly, gregarious selves again! #raccoons #raccoonbabies #raccoonsofinstagram #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #wildliferemoval #covid19essentialbusiness @ Guelph, Ontario

Encounters like this can make our day. It's always fun to interact with raccoons and to see first hand how they navigate their world. #raccoons #raccoonbabies #raccoonsofinstagram #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #bestjobever #raccoonremoval #wildlife

We really enjoy the chance to work with a dog. Juno, our Catahoula Leopard Dog on staff is always ready to go! Whether that job is finding a raccoon in a horse barn or giving lip to geese. Yes we have a permit for the goose control! #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #bestjobever #canadageese #dogsofinstagram #catahoula #catahoulaleoparddog

It's baby season, so in "no attic access" situations daily door checks are necessary to ensure no babies are locked in. Weekend door checks are a great opportunity to introduce the next generation of a family business to the industry! #smallbusiness #urbanwildlife #pestcontrol #humanewildliferemoval #wildliferemoval #squirrelremoval #family #familybusiness #girlsintrades @ Durham, Ontario
