How has COVID-19 impacted your health and wellbeing? What has been helpful and what has not been helpful for your mental health? Researchers from the University of Victoria are participating in a global collaboration to study the psychological impact of the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. We are asking people to complete a short questionnaire to better understand how the coronavirus is affecting us all and its impact on our day to day lifestyle. We hope to find out what is helpful for people during this time and also what may be causing some people to be affected more than others in terms of their wellbeing. You could win one of ten $50 gift cards for your participation. Can you spare 15 minutes to help? Click on the link to the questionnaire for more information: https://bit.ly/2Q3n69p

A reminder of a CABS presentation to be held this Friday (15th May) at 5 pm. Steve Lindsay will be presenting a seminar entitled: Building a Graduate Seminar Around Conducting a Replication... He will be talking about an interesting new course (held in the Spring semester of 2020), PSYC 576A Cognitive Psychology: Memory, built around selecting a recently published effect and attempting a direct replication. Steve indicates that he and his collaborators "...had fun, learned a lot, and ended up producing something of value". We look forward to this intriguing story. Note the unusual time for this event (5 pm). It's the time to share a beer, so feel free..... The link to the talk is: https://zoom.us/j/99035304199 Best wishes, Daniel
