Here's another phishing email that's going around that would give the attacker access to your email and possibly your hosting account as well as any accounts that send you verification emails or codes. If you are unsure about an email you've never received before about your account, ALWAYS contact your hosting provider before clicking any links. The subject contains, "WARNING: This Email Account Is Due For Upgrade"... If you have received this and have fallen prey and given up your credentials, you MUST change your passwords immediately.

PHISHING ALERT If you get an email from V3 (or any other hosting provider) with a De-Activation Notice from cPanel, delete it and DO NOT click the link. This is a phishing email and you will give control over your hosting to hackers. We've already seen two of our clients victimized by this in the past couple of days.... There is no such actual notice and if you try to login via the link, you have given your login credentials to hackers. If you have received this notice and attempted to login, you need to act IMMEDIATELY and either change your cPanel password or open a support ticket with V3 and have us reset your password for you.
