On Thursday December 3 staff and residents were delighted to host a pie a manager in the face for the Medicine Hat Women's Shelter. The basic premise is that when you donate $5.00 to the charity, you get to toss a pie for which department manager you think should get a pie in the face, in front of everyone. The event raised $240.00. A resident was quoted, "We are just one big family here, we love being included in all the fun!".

What’s happening at Valleyview To spread a little joy and help reduce the impact of isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, AgeCare, Valleyview is offering free treats to residents and essential workers. This year there will be a Halloween decorated Ice cream travelling cart, treat bags and a Halloween Costume Dance off. Residents have participated in pumpkin decorating and also had the opportunity to make their own spooky personalized mugs. ... S(care) Packages will be delivered to all residents on Saturday October 31. It includes packages filled with fun Halloween tricks and treats that residents can enjoy in their rooms. It will also include Halloween themed word searches, crossword puzzles, ‘I Spy’ activity sheets and coloring pages.
