Talk about a fishbowl... Though the beauty of this ensuite bathroom is undeniable... I don't think being on display this much would appeal to any house guests, long-term or temporary. From the black glass frame, black faucets, beautiful stand-alone soaker tub, floating sink and LED lit niches; this bathroom is stunning on its own and doesn't need an audience when in there for a #2. Market Update - December 2020 December remained a hot month for home sales, more specifically for detached homes, townhomes and 1/2 duplexes! Overall, we saw a 53.4% increase in sales over December of last year and .9% increase over November 2020. On record, this December was the highest total sales for the month equalling about 58% above the 10 year average! Now fully into Winter and in the second wave of the pandemic, we saw the number of listings decrease by about 4...1% compared to November 2020 as inventory dwindled due to the holiday season. Because of COVID's rise in numbers again, buyers have continued to shift their sights onto larger homes with more space to feel comfortable to work and live as consumers are preparing for the current situation to last well into 2021. The condo market again remained flat as sales were relatively the same as November 2020 with no change in benchmark pricing. With that being said; sales are still happening as December 2020 condo sales were 40% higher than December 2019. Benchmark pricing for townhomes and 1/2 duplexes increased by .1% over last month and 4.9% over December 2019. Sales for these property types increased a whopping 62.9% over last year!! Detached homes increased 1.1% in benchmark pricing from November 2020 as sales rose by an outstanding 71.3% over December of last year!!! Benchmark pricing increased just over 10% vs December 2019. Still fueling this market are the historically low mortgage rates and now the lack of inventory, especially in larger homes. We've seen as low as .99% for variable rates... basically it is free to borrow money and an amazing time to upgrade your home! We are also seeing more and more investment properties being purchased as buyers are leveraging the equity in their homes to build their property portfolios!
