After my hockey career was cut short, I went back to school to earn my diploma in Television Broadcast from BCIT. I went to work for main stream media and also worked with the Vancouver Canucks doing instant replay at Rogers. Long story short, I returned home to teach hockey skills to children, while working in the Audio/Visual industry here in Victoria, namely with the Victoria Royals as a Camera Op/Technical Director. One of my biggest highlights of my career with except...ion of working every Olympic Hockey game in 2010, was working as a Technical Director for the 2019 World Junior Championships. If you were there and saw yourself on the screen, that was me - I was responsible to put cameras, replays and content to the jumbo-tron. Below is the switcher I used for the screens, along with my credentials. I miss working live hockey games at Save On Foods Centre, but hey, working with kids doing hockey skills is rewarding and beyond fun!
