We promised you the drop of our Saturday Seratonin Workshop Series and we’re kicking it off with a BANG! For January through March we’re virtually bringing in some of our most fave International Instructors, to keep you motivated and inspired throughout the start of this new year. If you’re not a fan of @jeezloueez you live under a rock and need to come out! She’s helping us christen this series with her infamous workshop: Twerk & Jerk. Joining us from New Orleans on Saturda...y, Jan 23, 3pm - 4:30pm (Pacific Time), Jeez Loueez, who basically lives in the Top 3 list of Best Burlesque in the world is gifting us with her Twerk and Jerk Booty Intensive Twerkshop, the class that has everyone ready to pop, wobble, werk, and wine. This high-energy intensive is not for the faint of heart. Fusing the sensuality of burlesque with the vibrancy of bounce, this class will focus on isolations, footwork, and of courseTHE BOOTY! Class begins with a video and lecture presentation on the history and evolution of twerk. OUR DECEMBER WORKSHOP SERIES IS DROPPING THIS WEEK! Join Lola for this dark and lush dive into the celebration of your dualities - your shadows and lights. As the season takes it's slumber into its darkest days, we come together to intentionally dance in our dark...ness and infuse ourselves with light. This workshop is choreography based and is aimed at an intermediate level, so coming with a foundational knowledge of erotic dance is beneficial - will include shoulder rolls and shoulder stands, so back, neck or wrist injuries should be considered. The Fall 2020 drops start now! And will be rolling out over the next few days. We are over the moon to announce our first ever Act Development Course Oct 7 - Dec 9! This 10 week intensive will teach you how to build you own solo act, from choosing music, theme and vibe, to how to build choreography and plan your costume. @Cherry Ontop and Ariel Helvetica will help you gain the confidence you need to launch yourself into the sparkly land of solo performance. You will get 3 ind...ividual coaching sessions as part of this course, which allows our Instructors to work one-on-one with students and help you achieve your goals. We will end with a filming session and supply you with a video of your act at the end of our journey together. Zyra is the 2019 Queen of Panama Burlesque and Founder of Lee Vanity Productions which focuses on hiphop ...& RnB themed shows (a little foreshadowing to her number perhaps..?). Zyra mixes Afro Caribbean Culture with Vintage Burlesque Glamour and is always stunningly on point.
