Postponed: On Thursday November 19, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced new provincial orders to reduce the spread of COVID 19. Since the order states no concerts or gatherings, the Symphony cannot present our Christmas shows planned for December 2020. The good news is that our Back Row Brass Quintet can play any style of music, so we have moved our December concerts to March 2021. Of course, it will not be a Christmas concert, but we can promise it will be entertaining and fun! If yo...u purchased a ticket, thank you, and you will receive an email from the Port or Tidemark Theatres related to your ticket options. Our goal at the Vancouver Island Symphony continues to be to offer our musicians a wage this season and to offer you music to feed your heart and soul. We continue to operate this year and we are constantly evolving what we do and how we must do it during this pandemic. Your financial support is appreciated and needed more than ever before.
