#tbt 2003 Nanning International Folk Song Festival. One of the most spectacular and memorable dance trips to date. We were one of many international folk and dance companies traveling around the Guangxi province in China to showcase our culture. We were however the only with two flags, representing Iranian culture as proud Canadians. One of the outdoor shows drew crounds of over 60k from neighboring villages! What a special day. Not only was this our first class back since Covid hit in early March, but we made a special discovery. @azitasahebjam has been teaching since her late teens when she was a company member at Pars National Ballet in Iran. We're back! So excited to be welcoming students back to dance classes this September, with new health and safety protocols. It's been a historical and challenging few months for everyone, as we try and find new ways to do old things. The safety and well-being of our instructors and students will be top of mind as we jump back into our practice. Registration is now open to all ages and abilities
