There’s some pros and cons to having it done based on the condition of your brows, so some expectations you have may not be attainable. ... Having said that, I have taken training for brow correction and have had success with each treatment. I do not do cover ups unless I see your brows first to make the decision if you’re a good candidate or not. If you’re not, I will offer other alternatives and if you are, I go over everything with you so there’s no surprises. I mean, using editing tools to smooth out a few wrinkles here and there or removing a blemish is okay, but the truth is, EVERYONE LOVES THE REAL YOU! ... If you have old microblading and want it covered up, powder brows or ombré brows may be your only option. Each individual case is different, so make sure you go over this with your artist and explain exactly what it is you’re looking to achieve. This client wanted her brows to have a more defined shape and something soft and natural. ... She already had a decent shape to begin with however, due to already having previous work done before the microblading, the older work was starting to show through. (That’s the more solid colour you see under the strokes). So in this case, we covered up the strokes and did a colour correction at the same time to correct the older work underneath. Because the strokes were closer to the center on her left brow, I added a few small strokes in the front so when they heal, those wouldn’t be missing and would blend nicely with the right brow. This is initially right after her session, her results look much darker now than when they heal. They will become about 30% lighter in colour and shrink about 1mm in size. All my services are based on what my clients individual needs are and what they are a good candidate for. Not everyone is a good candidate for all techniques used for permanent brows.
