Mise à jour importante de Vélo MSM au sujet de l’utilisation de vélo à pneus surdimensionnés : aucun VPS ne peut être utilisé en montagne pendant les opérations de ski ni sur aucun des sentiers adjacents aux pistes de ski. Les VPS peuvent être utilisés sur les pistes au bas de la montagne et autour du lac, loin des pistes de ski. Nous allons damer certains de ces sentiers lorsque les conditions de neige le permettront. Des mises à jour sur le damage seront transmises à ce m...oment. -------------------------------------------------------- Important update regarding Fat Biking at Velo MSM: There can be no Fat Biking on the mountain during ski operations nor on any trails that are on the mountain adjacent to ski runs. Fat Biking can be done on the trails at the bottom of the mountain and around the lake away from the ski runs. We are going to be grooming some of those trails as snow conditions allow for it. Updates on grooming will be provided when it happens.

The Snow Dog has been out grooming the west side of the Lake Loop. At the moment the following trails are sled-packed and rideable: Hotel Connector, Hollywood, Low Cal, Baseline (to the tennis courts), Route 66 and Malibu. Many riders have been out on the east side of the lake as well, so these trails may be rideable. The plan is to groom these as soon as the snow cover allows it. Thanks so much to DMS for his volunteer efforts! Please be aware that temperature affects tread ...conditions, and don't ride or walk on soft snow (without snowshoes). Remember! After careful consideration we will open the Lake Loops for the weekend. HOWEVER please get off your bike and walk through the muddy and very rutted areas. You will know when you see them...TTOP and all Mountain Trails are closed due to hunting and are susceptible to big damage. Do not ride the closed trails they are closed for a reason. #velomsm

Weekend update: After a few days of wet weather, the sun is back a little bit this weekend however we have some moist and freshly build zones on the lake loop trails that have been closed off. Please do not ride these parts of the trails. It’s ok to walk through. Meanwhile, Lugtread will be closed until further notice. ... Please to not ride soft, wet or muddy trails, it’s a lot more work to fix them and it’s a lot more fun building new trails versus fixing up a messy one. Happy weekend. #velomsm #velomsmtrailcrew

TRAIL UPDATE: The crew have been busy doing important maintenance and resurfacing on Baseline and Low-Cal trails these last couple of days!!
