We want to thank everyone who took the time to comment and send us private messages and thoughts about our post and the possibility of running five Christmas-related charters. With the exception of 2 or 3 individuals the resounding consensus was that, with COVID numbers on the rise, most just aren't ready or comfortable to travel outside of our immediate area. We value your opinions and comments and we are listening! At this time we have made the difficult decision to postpone these ideas and revisit future charters at a later date. Once again, until we Venture, stay safe & healthy and remain kind to each other

Happy Beautiful Saturday! We hope that you are enjoying this amazing Fall weekend, sitting outside or going for a stroll and soaking up this 21 degrees of sunshine this afternoon. It is hard to believe but yesterday marked the 7 week point in our countdown to Christmas. This has brought about much conversation in our Venture home and we'd like your honest opinion. We'd like kindness and respect in your responses, as we've found that people tend to have quick opinions that ...are easily voiced on social media these days, a little kindness goes a long way. Any disrespectful comments or arguments will be deleted, this isn't a debate, your opinions count and we'd appreciate any helpful feedback. We are toying with the idea of running 5 Christmas themed charters within the next month and are gauging interest at this time. These charters would consist of: - 2 Saturday charters to St Jacobs Market & Village followed by a drive-through light display at Bingemans Amusement Centre in Kitchener - 1 weekday charter to Samko Toy Outlet / Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre followed by a drive-through light display, Journey into Enchantment at Angus Glen Golf Course, Markham - 2 Friday charters to the Outlet Collections of Niagara followed by a drive-thru light display operated by the Niagara Festival of Lights. Following social distancing recommendations, these charters would be open to a maximum of 8 passengers per charter, 2 per row, masks worn in vehicle at all times, with hand sanitizer and masks available if needed. These charters will only run if full (8 passengers) and unfortunately travel credits can not be used on these specific charters only. Both charters would be $85 per person, including roundtrip transportation and lights display, with pick up in Kingston, Napanee or Belleville. Once we can gauge interest we will advertise these charters on our events page and website and take names and payment on a first come-first serve basis. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This weekend we should have been at the Country Folk Art and Craft Show at the New York State Fairgrounds, an overnight weekend of shopping bliss at Hobby Lobby, JoAnne's, Destiny USA, KOHL's, Walmart, and the Outlet's - and let's face it, any other stops in between that our Venture family wanted to make. This was always a fun-filled fantastic weekend that marked the beginning of our Christmas shopping. I think this is one of the charters that we miss the most! Here's a little Sunday chuckle for you! We hope that you are able to bundle up against those cool temperatures and get outside to enjoy those fabulous fall colours today, before we know it that dreaded white stuff will start falling from the sky!
