Reminder: Boulder Battles 2019's final battles happen tonight at 7:00pm! Be there or be on of the people highlighted in yellow that were too afraid to go head to head with the rest of the legendary crew! (Erica's cool though) Please arrive at 6:30 so we can get things under way at 7! ... Lastly, there are 4 spots open for anybody else that competed this year! Maybe the qualifiers didnt go the way you had hoped, but the finals battles could! Its random, and anything can happen. Boulder Battles Qualifying is complete! With that said, here are the final rankings. Remember, the top 32 men and top 8 women qualify for the Final Battles which will be held this Thursday, August 16th at 7pm. Congratulations to all the finalists! If you are a finalist and cannot make it Thursday, please let Justin, or the desk staff know ASAP so we can update the list of finalists.... Battle brackets will be announced Wednesday evening!

Boulder Battles Qualifying is winding down. To give everyone an extra chance to climb the rankings, qualifying will be extended to 10pm Saturday, August 11th.

Don't forget, Saturday August 18th is The North Face Global Climbing Day. On this day, Vertical Adventures will be opening it doors to the public, FREE OF CHARGE between the hours of 12pm and 5pm. If you, or somebody you know has wanted to try climbing but were worried about spending money on an new activity, this is your chance to come down and see what our great community is all about. I tried it once 21 years ago and was instantly hooked... 21 years later, i'm still at it!

With just under a week left in this years Boulder Battles qualifying the fight for the top seems to have been won by Nate Lo who climbed every problem in the gym. Remember, your ranking matters! It settles ties and decided which competitor goes first in the battle, which provides strategic advantage. Qualifying end Saturday August 11th! Get in the gym and get some sends, it might mean the difference between winning and losing a battle round!

We're almost there! Boulder Battles starts July 7th. Qualifiers run until August 8th! For those new to the event: Boulder Battles is a month long scramble competition, similar to the qualifying round of Brass Monkey followed by a bracket style elimination tournament. In the qualifying round you have 1 month to try Boulder Battle routes as many times as you want, with the goal being to send as many routes as possible in one month. Last year’s qualifiers saw over 2500 sends...! The final battles pit competitors against each other in randomly generated, head to head battles. If you win, you move on to the next round, if you lose, you’re out! The stakes are high and the pressure is on Anybody can walk out of a battle the winner. Register at the front desk starting Friday, July 6th!

Notice to our guests: We will be setting in the evening this week as we prepare for the 2018 Boulder Battles. Tonight, the entire right side of the boulder area, including the 45 degree wall will be off limits. Boulder Battle Qualifying round starts July 7th!
