It has been reported repeatedly in The Vancouver Sun that "The hairdressing industry were deregulated by the previous Liberal Government in 2003, and now do not... have a representative association or standards on cleanliness." I have been a proud member of the hairdressing industry for 22 years. The deregulation has taken away the licensing of the trade. The STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS had not been affected by the deregulation. Beauty salon operations all need to follow the regulations set by the BC Public Health Authority. We are regularly being inspected by inspectors from the health department. The reporter, Rob Shaw has not done a thorough research on the hairdressing industry before penning the report and had tarnished the reputation of the trade.

Amber will be at the salon for retail pickups tomorrow, Monday April 27th, midday. If you would like to grab some products message us and she will have it ready for you. If the time doesn’t work for you then she can grab your order and workout a different pickup for you. Delivery options available with shipping charges additional. Local North Vancouver drop offs may be arranged.

And we still have major lease payments and other fixed costs that we aren’t getting help for. The reality is... a lot of these businesses won’t make it through this. We need support at this time. We don’t get the wage subsidies because we are closed. If you love your hairstylist, massage therapist, nail tech, physiotherapist. After we receive the hair colour and it's processed at our warehouse, it will then be taken to a che...mical waste management facility where our partners will convert it into clean energy. Or they will extract the water, neutralize it and reintroduce it back into the water system - cleaned and ready to be used. See more
