Almost mid-December and we are starting to hunker down for the Christmas Season and plans for our New Year 2021. Vespa Metro Service will be open until December 19th. Another Shop just a stones-throw from Metro, is Imperial Autobody. They have years of experience doing Vespa work for us. Here is a lovely ET2 from 2005 that is now Collector Plate status now that the rough dent on the leg shield was taken care of, as well as fender and mirror ends given a re-fresh of paint.

All sorts of colours and shapes ...coming into our Shop lately. Its been a great riding season and still continues to be warm even into mid-evening. The 'social-distancing' leaves plenty of activities to be desired but I know of one that really feeds the soul... Scootering in Autumn!

Pumpkin Season! But we still have nice days to ride....Jason our former Lead Technician came by for a social ride recently. Jason rides a very modified S150 which is very fast.....last pic was out at Iona Beach, and later a drop over to Steveston before heading home. Great to see Metro Family!

Seem that the "Vespa" (aka Wasp) was unhappy toward the Looper Moth cramping his style last week. Check out the buzz on the Elettrica-70.

It appears that the smoke and ash, and the moth invasion are behind us! Fall brings its own special and amazing scenery, witnessed on two-wheels as the spectacular colours of the lower-mainland we love.

Another 'herd' of the most popular colour arrived... red and white. I'm thinking 'that can't be true, can it?'....then I look down the current line of the earlier LX models in for service lined up inside...........aha.. "Lil Red Vespa" a classic.

The team scoots have arrived for the Staff at Team Vespa Metro.... but the Boss said we can't keep 'em ! No time to ride with all Servicing happening in high-season Summer. If you are getting used to the high mercury red....stop by for a look at this 'cool' VESPA (RED). Piaggio special edition with a unique paint code, red wheels, and red seat ! Be the only one in town with it !

Its hard to believe but its 8 years since the 'LX' Vespa line ended. Great to see that the designers at Piaggio had the ability to make a classic continue to not look 'out-dated'. The orange LX holds up very well in styling to the green Sprint. The fun variety of colours and finishes and special-models really keep the Vespa model line at the top tier of Scooters.

Its not everyday....errr It's not every-year, errr 'every few years' that a CRATE ENGINE arrives from Pontedera, Italy. This Piaggio crated motor seems to have had the crate cobbled-together to get it to Vespa Metro Service. Christian had it out of the box the day it came in, and by the end of the next day it was inside the GTV300 happily heat-cycling and ready for its Test Ride. Nice Work Christian... Magic to see this happen!

Some of you might recall the 1980s United Colours of Benetton Ads? This campy and playful era was making a statement which is just as relevant today. Sean Wotherspoon's design for Vespa seems to echo the timeless message that many colours make up a whole....and in this case a 'one of a kind' Vespa Primavera! Just un-wrapping this one... already sold. Get on it before there are no more available. An instant Classic for 2020 ~!
